[boy with a coin]

Lots of little victories today :)

Went for a run this morning (always a victory in and of itself). It was so dark outside, I opted to reverse my route. It typically starts with me running towards and along the edge of town that meets a forest preserve - a nice place for serial killers at the crack of dawn. By reversing my route, I started my run through the center of town in a more populated area and then worked my way towards the woods. I got started late, so I ended up making an early left turn and cutting my run from 4 miles to 3 miles. Upon racing up to the front door, I looked at MapMyRun and saw that I had been keeping an 8:41 minute per mile pace!

8:41!!!!!

VICTORY!!!!!!

Seeing any time that starts with an 8 is a huge accomplishment, as I've been in the low nines for a while now and have been desperate to start breaking into the eights. I definitely let a fist pump fly after seeing that glorious screen :)

My second little victory happened after school. I have been hunting down this jacket from Gap for at least a month and a half now. It's so cute, cut quite short and fitted, absolutely perfect for a casual fall jacket, BUT they haven't been able to keep it in stock!!! This jacket has been flying off the shelves, online and in stores. So I've been checking daily, sometimes even twice a day, to see if they had stocked it in my size (which is size Awesome). And, today of all magical days, THEY HAD MY SIZE IN STOCK!

VICTORY #2!!!!!

I immediately ordered it, and in 7 to 10 business days I will have it in my hot little hands. Now, my fall wardrobe is nearly complete. The only things I'm still missing are a large, comfy, cable knit taupe sweater and a fitted chambray shirt.

Chambray, leggings + boots.Love love love

I'm becoming increasingly excited about running and being able to wear my beautiful fall clothes.
Let's have autumn now please.
